Osteoporosis: An Exercise Guide
|
Exercise is an important step in improving your health and quality of
life. As a physical therapist working with patients in the treatment
and prevention of osteoporosis, I have found that people have
misconceptions concerning exercise. Too often, individuals with good
intentions are performing exercises that may actually cause them harm.
Osteoporosis: An Exercise Guide is the by-product of my search for an
effective, easy-to-perform program for my patients. I chose exercises
that target the areas most affected by osteoporosis. I included a
walking program as well as important information on posture and body
mechanics. By following this simple program, my patients improved
their posture, strength, endurance and balance. So can you!
Physicians around the country have raved about Osteoporosis: An Exercise Guide.
